Description:

Nonograms, also known by various names such as Paint by Numbers, Picross, Griddlers, Pic-a-Pix, kenken, kakuro, pictogram, numbrix, shikaku, nurikabe and others, are challenging picture logic puzzles. The objective of the game is to color or leave blank cells in a grid based on numbers provided at the side of the grid. By following these numbers, a hidden picture is gradually revealed.

These puzzles employ a concept known as discrete tomography, wherein the numbers serve as clues that indicate the number of unbroken lines of filled-in squares in each row or column. For instance, a clue such as "4 8 3" implies that there are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares in that order, with at least one blank square between each set.

Nonograms come in various sizes, which adds to their appeal. You can find puzzles with grid sizes ranging from 5x5 to 25x25. Whether you prefer a smaller grid for a quick challenge or a larger grid for a more intricate puzzle-solving experience, there is a nonogram size suitable for every player's preference.
